A man has been charged with assault following what police are describing as an ‘incident’ involving a woman in Edinburgh Drive, Bingham.
Krysztof Dembski, 30, also of Edinburgh Drive, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Mr Dembski was remanded in police custody and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 21.
Officers were called to Edinburgh Drive on Friday lunchtime where a 44-year-old woman was found dead.
Her death is still being treated as unexplained.
