Police officers have closed Station Road in Sutton-in-Ashfield in both directions near the A38 junction following a serious collision.
Notts Police were called to reports of a serious collision on the road at around 2pm on Thursday (August 9).
Officers are currently on scene and are being assisted by emergency colleagues.
Station Road will remain closed in both directions at the junction with the A38 and police are advising people to avoid the area.
