Police hunting man who exposed himself on train release CCTV image

exposure, indecent exposure

Passengers were left shocked after a man lowered his trousers and exposed himself on a train in Nottinghamshire.

It happened on the 5.26pm Nottingham to Worksop service on 19 December last year.

British Transport Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they believe could have information.

Nobody should put up with this behaviour

Detective Sergeant Paul Kazimierczyk said: “We have been following a number of enquiries to try to identify the person responsible for this offensive and intimidating act.

“Nobody travelling on the railway should have to put up with this type of behaviour and we’re determined to find the man responsible.

“We believe the man captured on the on board CCTV can help us with our enquiry. If you think you can name him, or if you have any information to help our investigation, we’d urge you to get in touch.”

The CCTV image comes after the launch of the police campaign ‘Report It To Stop It’ – which aims to tackle unreported sexual exposure, harassment, leering and sexual touching.

If you know the man pictured, call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 using reference 181 of February 19.
