Police are investigating the death of a woman at a house in Mansfield yesterday evening.
Police were called to an address in St John’s Place at about 6.09pm (29 January).
A Notts Police spokesman said: “Officers arrived and a woman was subsequently pronounced dead within a property. Formal identification has not yet taken place.”
St John’s Place is a private road with a row of houses off Rosemary Street.
Enquiries are continuing today and anyone with information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 702 of January 29.
