Police have charged a man with the murder of a woman found stabbed in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Officers also named the victim as 46-year old Aleksandra Mrozic, pictured above, who was found injured on Gleneagles Drive in the town at around 11pm on Saturday.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics but died on the way to hospital. A 32-year-old man was also taken to hospital with stab wounds. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Detectives have now charged a man arrested on Saturday with her murder, and with a separate charge of attempted murder. Pawel Lupa, 40, who lives on Gleneagles Drive, is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
