Video: Notts Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward following the incident
A 31-year-old man has been hospitalised after being attacked with a broken bottle during a robbery on St Mary’s Gate.
At around 5am on August 18, the man was assaulted when two men approached him and demanded his personal belongings.
The victim refused and was attacked with a broken bottle – the two men then fled the scene on foot.
The man was taken to the QMC with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
A bank card belonging to the victim was then used in a supermarket on Long Row later that day.
Officers would like to speak to two men in connection with the incident.
The first man is described as white, 20-25-years-old, around 5ft 7ins to 5ft 9ins, of a skinny build and was wearing a dark coloured hoodie – he also has acne scarring on his cheeks.
The second man is described as white, white, 20-25-years-old, around 5ft 7ins to 5ft 9ins, of a skinny build and was wearing a dark coloured top with white stripes over the right shoulder and dark trousers – the lower half of his face was covered with a skeleton mask.
