Police searching for driver after cyclist knocked off bike

Police are appealing for the driver of a car to come forward after a cyclist was knocked off his bike.

The rider was on Barnby Road, near to the Coddington Road junction, at around 1.30am on November 9 when the incident happened.

The cyclist came off his bike after coming into contact with a white Volvo saloon described as a ‘hatchback-style’ car.

A force spokesman said: “Officers investigating what took place would like to hear from the driver, anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who thinks they may be able to assist.”
