Police will tow away vehicles that are ‘parked dangerously or obstructing emergency access’ at the QMC.
From Monday (March 6) any vehicles that are found guilty of this will be removed.
It also includes vehicles parked on double red, double yellow or yellow hatched areas.
Vehicle owners could be charged as much as £350 in a fine if their vehicle is towed away.
A statement from the hospital said: “These arrangements are consistent with how inappropriate and dangerous parking is tackled elsewhere in the city (including the city centre).
“Nottingham’s hospitals are no different.”
