‘Potentially dangerous’ medication stolen during Bilborough burglary as police issue warning

‘Potentially dangerous’ medication has been stolen during a burglary from a home in Bilborough with police issuing a warning.

Nottinghamshire Police received a report a house on Felstead Road was burgled between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday (June 12).

The burglars took medication from the property including Lansoprazole, Clopidogrel and Atorvastatin.

A spokesperson for the force said: “The medication they have stolen is potentially dangerous if taken and would pose a significant risk to health if any individual were to consume it.

“Anyone with any information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the stolen medication is asked to contact us straight away.

“The drugs that were stolen have the potential to be dangerous and would urge anyone who knows where they are to hand them into a police station or contact us so we can get them recovered.

“Do not take any medication that isn’t prescribed to you as it could cause serious harm.”

Anyone with any information is asked to call Notts Police on 101 quoting incident number 563 of June 12.
