Video: Montanier speaks about the test that Forest will face at Brighton
Forest manager Philippe Montanier thinks that the Reds will need to be at their very best if they are to get a result from their trip to Brighton.
Nottingham Forest travel to the Amex Stadium tonight (Friday August 12) in the Sky Bet Championship and will be looking to continue their good start to the season.
The Reds opened their league campaign with a 4-3 home win over local rivals Burton Albion before winning 2-1 away at Doncaster in the EFL Cup.
It will be good to test our level against theirs
He said: “For me, Brighton are one of the best teams in the Championship.
“I saw several of their games from last season and they have good stability and are very organised.
“It will be a good challenge for Forest to test our level against theirs as they are one of the best in the league.”
Brighton are a very dangerous team
Montanier believes that Forest will have to play their best otherwise a result will be difficult to gain from the Amex Stadium.
He said: “We need to play a perfect game defensively and offensively and be focused all the time.
“If we don’t, they need only one chance to score as they attack in numbers and are a very dangerous team.
“The fitness of the players for tomorrow is good and we have a large squad so we have the choice to put out the best line-up that we have.”
