A Nottingham man who suffered a brain injury and was wrongly arrested by police is backing the introduction of an ID card for people with similar conditions. Tom Birch has slurred speech and walks with a slight stagger – often leading to people thinking he’s drunk. He’s now joined up with Nottingham based charity Headway to try and help more people understand injuries like his.
