Local mum with multiple sclerosis takes part in The Great North Swim
Many of you would might enjoy a swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, but what about in the cold temperatures of an English lake. Well, one woman from Bramcote’s dived in at the deep end. Joanne Bellamy has multiple sclerosis but that hasn’t stopped her taking on the Great North Swim Challenge to raise money for a charity close to her heart.
