PIKES AND PLUNDER is coming to Newark 25.04.17
Its been almost three hundred and seventy years since the end of the English civil war. The conflict which was started and ended by king Charles the first right here in Nottinghamshire. Well this bank holiday weekend, its being brought back to life by hundreds of re-enactors in Newark. Richard Minkley’s been getting all fired up at the National Civil War centre – quite literally.
