Theresa May calls for a snap election – the local reaction – 18.04.17
Nottinghamshire Members of Parliament have welcomed the Prime Minister’s call for a snap general election. Theresa May announced this morning that she’ll ask the commons for June the 8th as the polling day. Among our local MPs, labour say they’ll relish the chance to unseat the Tories, who themselves say it’s a chance for a fresh mandate in pursuing brexit.
