Police were called to a primary school in London after a nine-year-old boy was caught using a ruler as a pretend sword in the playground game of ‘knights and dragons’.

Teachers have been accused of overreacting after asking officers to come and speak to the boy who was waving the ruler as he played with his two friends at St George’s Bickely CE Primary School in London.
