Notts Police said moments later, the knife crime officer then witnessed a member of the public walk up to the group, seemingly to buy drugs.

Uniformed officers arrived at the scene and searched the three suspects, who were still at the play area.

The three men, one aged 20 and two 25-year-olds, were arrested around 11.20am and taken into custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, after a bundle of suspected crack cocaine and a psychoactive substance were discovered.

One has since been charged while the other two have been released on bail pending further enquires.
