Three men who ran a drugs operation from a house in Nottingham have been jailed.
On Monday, Josiah Cohen, 23, Alex Wint, 25, and Curtis Campbell, 24, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine and cannabis at Nottingham Crown Court.
The trio – all formerly from addresses in Argyle Street, Nottingham, Venetia Road, Hornsey, and Collison Street, Nottingham – commandeered a drug supply business from a Radford house.
Cohen was sentenced to five years in prison, while Wint was given a four-year term and Campbell a three-and-a-half year tariff.
Police discovered £15,000 worth of heroin, cocaine and cannabis stashed away in the property and the investigation uncovered a web of drugs, money and communications.
The group used secretive code words in mobile messages to keep their dealings under wraps. Officers deciphered each conversation to map the extent of the operation.
PC Steven Fenyn said: “This sentence is just another demonstration of how seriously Nottinghamshire Police takes drug dealing.
“Cohen, Wint and Campbell thought they were covering their tracks and had got away with it after their associate was initially imprisoned. However, evidence gained from their mobile phones proved to be their downfall.
“I am pleased that these three men were handed lengthy prison sentences and I would encourage anyone who is concerned about similar activity to come and talk to us.”
A fourth man, Richard Pryce, 25, formerly of Dennison Court, Radford, who was part of the drugs operation, was jailed for four years in October 2015.
