All tram services delayed because of broken down tram near Forest Rec

A tram has broken down near the Forest Recreation Ground causing delays to all NET services.

NET reported the incident at around 10.35am this morning (Friday October 13) but engineers have now recovered the tram.

Trams are now running through to all stops but there are still delays.

An NET spokesperson said: “There will be delays across the network while we work quickly to get the trams back to a seven to 10 minute frequency.

“Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience during this time.”
