Two 19-year-olds charged with assault and possession of a weapon in Clifton

Two 19-year-olds have been charged with assault after an incident in Clifton left two men in hospital.

Jordan Walker, 19, of Farnborough Road, Clifton, and Charlie Sharp, 19, of Southchurch Drive, Clifton, were each charged with two section 18 wounding offences and possession of an offensive weapon.

It follows an incident on Grasby Walk on Saturday, November 19, which resulted in two men being taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre with head injuries.

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Walker and Sharp appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 21, and will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on December 19.

A third man has been released on bail.

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for any further information in connection with the incident, and are urging people to call 101, incident number 544 of November 19 2016
