Two more people have been arrested after a 13-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were shot in St Ann’s.
Police were called to St Ann’s Well Road just after 4pm on Monday (June 4) to a report two people had been shot.
Police say both have been discharged from hospital having suffered relatively minor injuries.
A 27-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested this morning (Wednesday June 6) on suspicion of attempted murder.
These arrests take the total number of people arrested in connection with this incident to five.
Three arrests were made on Tuesday (June 5); the 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray has now been released on bail.
The 15-year-old boy has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Youth Court today (Wednesday June 6).
The 16-year-old arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and firearms offences remains in police custody.
An increased police presence remains in the St Ann’s area and Nottinghamshire Police are urging people to come forward with any information.
