Joshua Bradley died from a single stab wound which punctured his heart and lung, a court has heard.
The 19-year-old, of Bulwell, died after a fight in Thurland Street, just before 4am on Sunday, February 8.
Richard Johnson, of Belton Street, Hyson Green appeared at Nottingham Crown Court charged with Joshua’s murder and has been remanded in custody.
The court heard the victim was stabbed once, going through his ribs and consequently puncturing his heart and lung.
Johnson, 24, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on February 12 but his case was sent to Crown Court by judges for the hearing on Friday morning (February 13).
Three other men were charged with violent disorder in connection to the same incident.
The three men are Muhamad Adnan, 22, of Middleton Boulevard, Nottingham, Callum Levi Ibrahim, 22, of Belfry Way, Edwalton and Azeem Khan, 28, of no fixed address.
Their cases have been adjourned until February 24 and it is thought the case against Johnson is to be adjourned to the same date.
