A wall of Nottingham General Cemetery has been damaged following a car crash.

Nottinghamshire Police received a call at 12.17pm this afternoon (Monday May 14) to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall with no injuries reported.

The damage happened on the corner of Cromwell Street and Waverley Street

The car crashed into the wall on the corner of Cromwell Street and Waverley Street.

A police cordon is in place and damage can be seen to the wall on Cromwell Street which surrounds the cemetery.

The car was recovered shortly afterwards but the cordon remains intact.
