Watch: Dinosaur skeletons arrive at Wollaton Hall for world-exclusive exhibition

A vast collection of dinosaur exhibits is being assembled at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham for a world-exclusive exhibition.

Dinosaurs of China will open on June 30 and features dinisaurs up to 23m (75ft) in length.

A team of curators is putting the 23 pieces of the displays together after they arrived from China.

Nottingham City Council and the University of Nottingham arranged the exhibition after discussions with the Chinese Government.

Wollaton Hall is closed until the opening of the exhibition for safety reasons and to allow space for the fossils to be put together.

Among other highights is the Gigantoraptor – the largest bird-like dinosaur ever discovered.

“It’s amazing – it’s almost unbelievable that we’ve got these specimens at Wollaton Hall, we’re incredibly lucky” said curator Dr Adam Smith.
