Nottingham Forest have visited children who will be spending Christmas at QMC to deliver presents.

The Reds made their annual visit to the children’s ward to spread some Christmas cheer which was also special for the players and head coach alike.

Striker Britt Assombalonga said: “It’s something that a lot of the boys look forward to doing as a lot of the boys have families and have children that love Christmas.

“They like giving presents to those who are not able to enjoy Christmas in their home environment as they’re here in a hospital bed.

“For us to come here help us to bring Christmas to the little children.

“It’s very special, you know I want to help make these children happy and make all these kids smile.”

Head coach Philippe Montanier said: “It’s a time for us to share with those in hospital because it’s always difficult to be in hospital during Christmas.

“We come with the players and some presents to share good moments.”
