Video: A brief snow shower blew over the city centre on Thursday.
The first snow flurries of winter fell in Nottingham as temperatures dropped to freezing on Thursday.
The showers gave the city centre a light dusting at around 3pm, hours after the Met Office had issued the area with a weather warning.
The yellow alert for snow and ice is in place until 10am tomorrow (December 1).
Forecasters say the temperature will dip as low as zero degrees Celsius today, but it will feel like minus four in some places owing to wind chill.
