Nigeria’s acclaimed Yoruba Women Choir performed in Notts to celebrate Black History Month.
The ten female singers have travelled all over the world, winning the hearts of fans with their rich harmonies and soulful Gospel.
The group performs a collection of joyful songs, joining their rhythms with the five-piece band, led by guitarist Kunle Olasoju, and played a two-hour set at Nottingham Lakeside Arts on Tuesday (October 3).
Funmi Olawumi, the founder of the Yoruba Choir, brought the members together from all over Nigeria.
