A Nottinghamshire children’s farm has been broken into with a range of toys, t-shirts and electrical equipment stolen.

White Post Farm, situated on Mansfield Road in Farnsfield, is believed to have been broken into in the early hours of Tuesday (January 3) morning.

However marketing manager Anthony Moore said that the nature of the burglary was ‘unusual.’

He said: “A children’s farm attraction is an unusual choice for a burglary and it was strange because of some of the unusual things taken and some of the unusual things that had been left behind.

“The gift shop doors had been forced open and most of the stock taken out of it and we noticed a lot of other buildings and barns had been broken into as well.

“We’ve had such an amazing response from our visitors and customers and on social media with lovely, kind messages with people saying that they are behind us.

“That’s really picked us up and cheered us up.”
