A woman has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm after a man was reportedly stabbed inside a house.
Police were called to reports of a man being seriously injured in an address on Plantation Road, Keyworth, at around 11:45pm on Saturday (4 January).
The victim was found with a single stab wound to his back and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Notts Police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Michelle Walker, 38, of Plantation Road, Keyworth, was arrested and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrate’s Court today (January 6), charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Detective Inspector James Oakton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “While we appreciate news of a potential stabbing will concern residents, we want to reassure them that this was an isolated incident that posed no wider risk to the public.
“We are pleased to hear that the man’s injuries aren’t believed to be as serious as originally thought when the call came in.”
