Police find body in search for missing 16-year-old girl

Officers who have been searching for a missing 16-year-old girl have found a body.

Notts Police were searching for Maisie Cousins-Stirk and made the discovery while searching in Misterton, Bassetlaw at around 5am this morning (Tuesday June 20).

Formal identification has not yet taken place but police are liaising closely with Maisie’s family.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious.
