Masked Nuthall car jackers being hunted by police

Three masked men who carried out a car jacking in Nuthall are being hunted by police.

Officers say it happened at 7.30am on Wednesday in Mornington Crescent, Nuthall, at the junction with Woodhouse Way, near to the Belfry Hotel exit.

Three men in Halloween masks went up to the victim while he was stood near an area of woodland close to his silver Mazda car.

The robbers threatened the man, then cut his hands as he raised them to protect himself.

After they took the victim’s car keys, and all three men drove away in the car.

The victim was then taken to hospital for treatment on his injured hands.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 101 of November 4.
