A1 northbound reopens following serious collision between two vehicles

The A1 northbound carriageway between North Muskham and Tuxford has re-opened following a serious collision between two vehicles.

The incident happened on the stretch of road near Markham Moor Services at around 12.30am this morning (Thursday October 5).

Nottinghamshire Police reported the road had re-opened at around 11.40am.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area as police warned the road would be closed for some time leading to significant delays.

Police say enquiries are ongoing.
