Bestwood assault: Nottinghamshire Police confirm man was shot

A man injured in an assault in Bestwood was shot according to Nottinghamshire Police.

The 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his arm.

Nottinghamshire Police have said that his injuries are not life threatening.

The incident took place in a house in Laybourn Drive in Bestwood.

Officers believe the firearm went off at 1pm on Sunday 24 May.

No arrests have been made and investigations continue.
