Police have said the body found in the River Trent on Monday (January 30) is that of missing man Sammad Ali.
Mr Ali, 33, had been missing since Sunday, November 13 when he was thought to be making his way home from Collygate Road, but never arrived.
The body was recovered from the River Trent at Hoveringham and Notts Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
The coroner has been informed but an inquest has not yet been opened into the death.
