Body of 60-year-old woman found in River Trent

The body of a 60-year-old woman has been recovered from the River Trent.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to Stoke Lane in Stoke Bardolph at around 2pm yesterday (Saturday January 21) to recover the body.

A Notts Police spokesman said: “Police recovered the body of a 60-year-old woman at a riverside location on Stoke Lane in Stoke Bardolph yesterday at 2pm.

“We are investigating but the death is not being treated as suspicious.”
