A body has been found during the search for missing Ollerton man Stan Shanks.
The body was discovered in woods in the Ollerton area this morning.
A Notts Police spokesman said: “The body has yet to be identified but the family of Mr Shanks has been made aware of developments.”
Mr Shanks, 78, was last seen a week ago at 9.30am on Friday walking on Walesby Lane in Ollerton.
He had also been seen at 2am the same morning in nearby Lime Tree Road.
A large police search operation was joined by local volunteers, including divers who searched the River Maun on Thursday.
