CCTV footage shows the moment robbers armed with knives and wearing Scream-style masks got more than they bargained for in an Arnold shop.
Police are hunting three men who targeted Shergill Stores on Homefield Avenue at around 9.40pm on Wednesday.
The men, believed to be around 18 years-old, demanded money – only to be chased off by the shopkeeper who waved a stick at them.
Two of them covered their faces by wearing Halloween ‘Scream’ masks but they were wearing distinctive clothing.
One was wearing a bright red coat and another was carrying a JD Sports bag.
Nottinghamshire Police have released the CCTV footage to try and find anyone who saw the men going into or coming out of the store or has any more information.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting incident number 830.
