Thousands of people across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands have come forward to help deliver food and essentials to people who may be self-isolating or shielding to protect themselves during the coronavirus outbreak.

If you are offering or accepting help, please make sure you follow Government and NHS advice on contact with other people. In general, items should be left on the doorstep and not delivered face-to-face.
Remember it’s crucial that you stay at home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms – the main ones being a new, continuous cough, or a fever. If you or anyone in your household has symptoms you should also avoid all face-to-face contact with other people.
There also people classed as ‘vulnerable’, who should stay at home, and the ‘extremely vulnerable’ who should be shielded from all contact with other people entirely.
