There were delays on a Nottingham main road after a car flipped in a three vehicle colision with a person needing to be cut free from one of the cars.
Traffic was at a standstill for over an hour following the accident, on the A611 from Annesley to Kirby In Ashfield.
The road has since reopened.
One man involved was taken to King’s Mill Hospital with what are thought to be serious injuries.
One of the cars reportedly flipped with fire crews from Hucknall, Ashfield and Highfields attending the scene at 8.10am cutting someone out of a car.
The East Midlands Ambulance Service and Notts Police also attended the incident.
Notts Fire and Rescue said anyone travelling along the road should expect delays, but it has now been dealt with.
Traffic has returned to normal.
