An elderly woman has died from her injuries after being hit by a van in a residential area of Wollaton.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Humberston Road at 11.10am on Thursday.
The woman, a pedestrian, later died despite the efforts of paramedics.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward by calling 101 and quoting incident number 202 of January 14.
Officers said no arrests have been made.
