Five teenage boys have been arrested in connection with a fight at a city centre burger restaurant which left two people with stab wounds.
Police were called to the Lower Parliament Street of Burger King at around 6pm on Sunday (January 21).
A Notts Police spokesman said: “The three 15 and two 16-year-old’s were taken into custody shortly afterwards on suspicion of affray.
“A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man suffered stab wound injuries and are currently being treated at the Queen’s Medical Centre.”
The branch was closed on Sunday evening while police examined the scene and spoke to witnesses. An ambulance and paramedic response car also attended the incident.
It is not clear if the two teenagers were stabbed inside or outside the restaurant.
