Nottingham Forest, Notts County and Mansfield Town have discovered who they will be facing in the first round.
Four time league cup winners Nottingham Forest landed a home tie at the City Ground against League One Walsall in the opening round.
Walsall haven’t lost to Forest in the last 11 games dating back to 2000, winning 7 and drawing four against Dougie Freedman’s side.
Forest got past Tranmere and Huddersfield in last years competition before falling in the third round to Premier League Tottenham Hotspur.
Tough away trip
Notts County face a trip to Yorkshire to take on Championship side Huddersfield Town.
The Magpies, who were relegated at the end of last season, suffered defeat in the first round last year losing 3-0 away at Sheffield Wednesday.
Mansfield have been handed a tough away trip to Hillsborough to take on Sheffield Wednesday.
The Stags were also dumped out in the first round of last years competition when a late Sheffield United goal saw them lose 2-1.
All three Nottinghamshire sides will learn what awaits them next season when the 2015/2016 Football League fixtures are announced on Wednesday.
