Lansbury is feeling “positive vibes” after scooping the award.

Lansbury said: “It is fantastic to be given this award and to be recognised for the hard work that has gone in over the last month.

“The award may have been given to me but it is recognition for the hard work that the whole team has put in to turn things around and go unbeaten in November.

“It is now up to us to maintain this form and keep picking up points, starting with the game against Derby on Sunday.”

Forest manager Philippe Montanier said: “I am delighted for Henri as his mentality on the training pitch and in matches is fantastic.

“He is one of many captains that we have and he has led by example; hopefully this good form can continue for the rest of the season.
“He is an excellent professional, providing great leadership on the pitch but also in the dressing room as he is a great role model for the younger players coming through at the club.”
