Nottingham Forest have made their second signing of the summer with defender Thomas Lam arriving from PEC Zwolle.
The 22-year-old has signed a deal and the Reds are waiting for international clearance before making an official announcement.
Lam published a picture of himself signing a contract on Instagram on Sunday, saying “New Chapter in my career! NFFC”.
The right-footed centre back has spent three years playing in Holland’s top division – having spent two years at AZ Alkmaar before making 33 league appearances for Zwolle last year, scoring twice.
A Finland international who stands at 6ft 2ins, he can also play at right back and won the award for most promising Finnish player of the year in 2011.
He arrives at the City Ground on a free transfer after his contract at Zwolle came to an end and is the second new addition since Philippe Montanier took charge as manager.
Forest confirmed their first summer signing last week, with Greek striker Apostolos Vellios coming in from Iraklis Thessaloniki.
