Nick Tsaroulla says playing at ‘unbelievable’ Meadow Lane has been one of the highlights of his recent move from Crawley.

The 25-year-old wing back signed for Notts in June, after making 115 appearances for the
West Sussex club and scoring nine goals.

During his 100th cap for Crawley Town, he played the magpies at Meadow Lane where Notts won 3-1.

He said: “I remember coming away from that game and then said to my parents if there’s a club I want to play for it’s this one I could feel it.

“It’s nice to be on the Notts side now, I’ve got all the fans cheering for me, not against.”

Now joining the club, Nick spoke on the experience of playing at his new home ground.

He said: “It’s unbelievable you can never take a home game for granted, every time I step out there I really soak it all in and enjoy myself.”

So far Nick has appeared for the County 11 times, with his first full 90 minutes with the club against Barrow away from home on 22nd of October, where the teams drew one all.

While he hasn’t scored yet, Tsaroulla said: “I’m not such a big stat man, obviously I would like to score but I’ll leave it to be natural, I know that if I continue doing the right thing and I just play my game (It’ll come).”

Looking forward, Tsaroulla said he understands the ambition and expectation at Notts County.

He said: “We obviously feel like we should have won some more of the games that we lost, so we’re always saying how we could improve.

“But, we’re in a decent position, obviously we want to be first and running away with it, that is the expectation and the standard.

“I have no doubt that with the talent we have in this squad that we can definitely do that.”

County are playing Harrogate Town tomorrow (Saturday, October 26) and then their first round game against Alfreton Town in the FA cup on November 1st, a competition which is “really special” to Tsaroulla after he scored in a massive upset 3-0 win with Crawley Town against Leeds United, a Premier League side at the time.
