In the second part of his interview with Notts TV, Jamie Ward believes Nottingham Forest’s target this season should be promotion.
The Northern Irish forward thinks having fresh management with no historic ties to the club is the best way forward and that the players have responded well to a new playing style.
Ward is happy with what he’s seen in preseason from the management and with the players looking “fit” and “sharp.”
If you can’t deal with the pressure, you shouldn’t play
He said: “If you can’t deal with the pressure of the fans wanting promotion then you shouldn’t play.
“The ability that we have got in the team means that we can attack quite quickly and we can break quickly too.
“It’s just a case of having the right people in front of us that can guide us and help us go that little bit more.”
