Man, 39, charged with attempted murder following stabbing in St Ann’s

A 39-year-old man is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court today (Tuesday June 5) charged in connection with a stabbing in St Ann’s.
Letf Rahman Miri, of Walton Avenue in Nottingham has been charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and common assault.
A 42-year-old man was stabbed at a property in Truman Close at 4.37pm on Sunday (June 3).
He was taken to the QMC for treatment and is currently in a stable condition.
Detective Inspector Chanelle Whitney said: “This was an isolated incident on private property between two adults known to each other.
“We do not believe this incident is linked to any other recent incidents.”
