A 57-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of non-recent child sexual abuse.
The man was arrested yesterday (Thursday October 5) and he remains in police custody where he will be questioned by officers.
An investigation has been launched and is in its early stages following an operation in Clifton.
Nottinghamshire Police say they acted on information received in relation to serious child sexual abuse allegations and are working on a number of lines of inquiry.
