Notts Police have charged a man in connection with a serious assault in Hyson Green on Wednesday (July 26).
It was reported a man had been stabbed in the neck with a machete on Pleasant Row at 2.17am on Wednesday.
Kevin Bartley, 54, of Pleasant Row, was arrested at the scene and charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and being in possession of an offensive weapon.
The victim was taken to the QMC but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Mr Bartley remains in police custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (July 27).
