A man found guilty of the murder of Junior Fuller in Sneinton last year has been given a sentence of life in prision – with a minimum of 21 years.

Dwayne Johnson, 29, of Lammas Gardens, the Meadows, was convicted at Leicester Crown Court on Monday (July 24) of murdering Mr Fuller at his home in Mill View Close.

He was brought before the same court on Tuesday, where he was told he will serve a life sentence with a minimum of 21 years before being eligible for parole.

Mr Fuller, 38, was found with stab wounds to his chest and later died from his injuries on December 11.

Johnson had denied the murder but was found guilty by a jury following a trial.
