Man in serious condition after Clifton stabbing

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in Clifton on Monday night.

Notts Police were called to the incident in Angel Green just before 9pm.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre, where he is still being treated, although his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Three youths aged 15, 16 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact police on 101.
